When i went to see youth in revolt i was kinda out voted ( two to one). I thought "ugh here is another movie that Michael Cera is playing himself". I kinda have to say i was pleasantly surprised when this super cute quirky girl strolled on screen and actually changed the typical Michael Cera movie into something so much better. I actually left the movie theatre wanting Sheeni Saunders' wardrobe. Portia is just so effortlessly cool.

Four Simple Goals.

Miss Elsie is doing a small challenge before the new year (because lets face it we always need goals)
My four simple goals are:

1.Be Myself
Some times i can get caught up in friends drama, or what I'm  doing, or be influenced by other people that some times i forget who i truly am and i get wound up and freak out and change myself for other people. I want this year and new school semester to be truly me and i am not going to let people make me feel uncomfortable for who i am and what i believe in.



2.Make Pieces That i am Proud of
I am an art student and this semester i am taking 3 studio classes. Intermediate Printmaking, Photo Lithography, and Painting. Last semester i took photo and i make pieces just to complete the assignment and i didnt make many pieces that i was proud of. I want to change that i want to think how can i use this assignment and make it work for what i want to do so we can all be happy!



3.Try not to look like a slob
trying to rush, get good grades, making messes, looking some what decent ususally isnt  really a top priority. thats why i want to make it a goal i want to look put together. even if its just jeans and cute top.




4. Enjoy Whats left of the warm weather!
Here where i live and go to school is the weirdest place ever. we can have sunshine, rain, sleet, and snow all in one day. i am not making this up we have the weiredest weather i plan to enjoy the rest of whats left of summer weather before we go back to school.

Oh My Jewels!!!

Lately i have been obsessing over rings. I love chunky rings, skinny stack able rings, statement pieces i love them all!!! Even though i have really tiny fingers  (size 5 ish) i love how when chunky rings look when they are all worn on the same hand or stack able rings are worn on one finger. I am a really big believer in more is more.  When i find a ring that fits i jump i have to get it that's kinda the shopaholic in me. I think "I WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER RING LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN" but usually i am kinda right i never find another one. I am having some serious jewelry envy here are some of my favorites!!!

Style Muse: Nicole Fox

All of you probably know who she is, she is the petite top model winner. I love her she was my favorite and i was glad she won. But watching the reruns of her season i thought to myself "what else has she been doing?". while visiting family in Detroit i saw her picture in the store front window of heritage. it made me fall in love with her all over again! here are a couple shots of what she has been up to.

Closet Chronicles : Leggings

I love leggings, i mean i Love leggings. They for me the most versatile piece of clothing. I wear them like tights under mini dresses and skirts. I wear them as pants with long t-shirts and baggy sweaters. Also depending on what kind you have you can dress them up or dress them down. I have the sequined leggings from H&M and wear them with longer oxford shirt or my longer concert tshirt.

Artist Obsession: Julia Galdo

I saw some of her pictures on someones flickr favorites and i was instantly jealous of her talent. I simply had to see more. When i took a peak at the rest of her sets i was amazed. I wish i could take photographs like this.
